[Japanese] - 激ギャランドゥ ∽∽絵倉庫∽∽ - Excellent style, very close to canon. There are a lot of character shots in the main gallery, but they're interesting - such as the one of Sarutobi and Jiraiya, and another of Kakashi and Itachi. I really like variety of characters (Genma, Haku, Tenten! etc). I think both canon and fanon fans will be satisfied with this site. Also? Saiiii! There's this one little illust of Naruto and Sai walking down the street that will forever be my favorite Sai+Naru illust. ♥! (Various!) (PG-13)

[Japanese] - 弥生水無月 - The first illustrations aren't much, but keep going and you'll be happy. One of my favorites is third illust (a +) on the third row of Hayate and his sword, sitting on some pretty grass with a really pretty lit lantern. I like how he's sitting and looking straight ahead and slightly up. Whoah, and the first illust in the Sand + Shika (砂＋シカ) section! The English around Temari is actually pretty good, unless it was copied from an English fic somewhere (which I doubt). It's about Temari waking up and finding Gaara's teddy bear beside her. Temari goes to ask Gaara but freezes up and doesn't in the end. Very interesting! Eee, the Akatsuki! This site has a lot of sections... I want more Team 7, the one oekkai here is majorly awesome~ Oh, and I never knew "Shika" in Shikamaru meant "Deer". Now wonder he had a little deer design on his shirt in the last sight, and in this one is drawn with a deer. xD And of course Ino's nickname from Sakura is "pig" (though there's a butterfly with "ino" in it's name), and "Chou" in Chouji means butterfly. [Japanese] - pape - This is mainly a Shino gen and KakaIru site. I like Shino and his bugs~ That's the only time you'll hear me say "like" and "bugs" in the same sentence. The artist has a particular style - the faces are drawn longer than normal. It's actually not bad, and I like the bodies. I suspect the KakaIru won't be everyone's taste (it's not cute, but more manly <- that word makes me lawl). Then I realized that I wasn't seeing even half of all the illusts because the frame didn't have a scroll. *sweatdrop* I took care of that (see note below) and went through them all. I was happily surprised. This style of coloring is definitely the best (its like anime cells?). They all have canon elements, and some of them are just great. I think the artist has a men-in-underwear fetish, so there's lots of that. Definitely a bishounen site, though there are bishoujo too. There's this silly comic where Jiraiya gives Kakashi one of his books called "いちゃいちゃカカライフ" (Make Out Kaka Life), and on the cover is Yondaime chasing after Kakashi. xD My absolute favorite illustration is the fourth one in the SUNSHINE section. I think this is the most amazingly canon Kabuto i've seen on a fanart site - not that i've seen any or much until now. freedom's fortress is a close second. I very much enjoyed browsing this fanart despite my neutral feelings towards Kabuto... and I admit, I especially liked the OroKabu, and even the KimiKabu (especially the one of them as babies!). [Japanese] - freedom's fortress - I'm not a fan of the pairing, so I don't know if and how many people like it - but if you do happen to, you'll love this well drawn fanart. But! There's plenty of other stuff too. One of my favorites is a Naruto + Sakura comic, where as the two are separating for the day and Sakura realizes he's going home to an empty house. When Naruto gets home, Sakura is there and is making him food. She even stays until he falls asleep, and then she talks about Team 7 and how different and the same Naruto and Sasuke were. Really sweet and sad. [Japanese] - sackcloth and ashes - Take a look at the first fanart and see for yourself why i'm rec'ed the Naruto section too! I wish I had the words to explain how awesome that is. Gaara's hair is so brilliantly red and soft looking, and his eyes are so dark and perfect! *stares* Hehe, there's a cute comic where, instead of being afraid of him, the kids adore Gaara when he does his sand thing. Its kind of sad, because I know what really happened, but this is a great AU comic. I recommend this site to Gaara lovers. But, there's other illustrations after the Gaara ones - some Akatsuki and Konoha ninja. There's this one of Sasori that just blows me away, and i'm not big on him! [Japanese] - レンゲ - The first section is great for Team Gai, mainly Lee. The second big section is full of Niju Shotai platoon one (Genma, Raidou, Aoba, an alive Hayate, Aoba, and some Kotetsu and Izumo and sometimes Lee). Next section is Kotetsu 'n Izumo, after that its all Sasori, then more Raidou x Genma etc. I think the thing that amazes me most about the site is the coloring. You can tell by the top image of Lee that its different colors mixed together, with watercolors I believe... and its just astoundingly gorgeous. I love Lee on this site, and I am very much looking forward to seeing more. Don't forget to look in the Diary and Raitan links. I am really fond of the way they draw Iruka with his hair down, without making him look feminine. He actually looks rather realistic, and it looks really handsome. Hmm, its hard to decide, but my favorite illustrations are the ones of young Iruka and Kakashi. They're just gorgeous, a bit sad, and yet warm. [Japanese] - 旧林檎坂 - Hee, how can Yondaime look so cute as a girl?! And... wow, I am beyond amazed at the illustration of Yondaime sealing the Kyuubi. The colors are so vibrant - its like being mesmerized by the fire of a candle. The illusts at the end of the "四代目火影" section are brilliant - not only in the coloring, but the JiraYon is gorgeous with its use of mute colors, all except the brilliant red umbrella. ...There also this awesome piece with Yondaime as the 4th Captain! So cool! The illustration I looked at that gave me the shivers and made me stare a lot was "夕哭" (Evening Cry). The close-up view, rain and how Jiraiya is just at the corner make it a very memorable piece. There are many other pieces that make me smile, laugh or catch my breath. There are some intriguing illustrations that I wish I knew what they meant, but i'm content to just stare at them in awe. I also like how Takko incorporated flowers in some of the illusts, such as the one with young Gaara and Naruto hunched down, a yellow flower (that I believe means friendship) on the ground between them. [Japanese] - B PLUS - The art here is very nice and cute! I like the use of darker colors and solidness. Except for maybe Naruto, he always has bold colors. :D The fifth picture at the top is one of my many favorites. A couple pictures of Naruto as Hokage too! I love the Oekaki of Sasuke! [English] - Burn the Sky - At first I thought it was a Japanese site in English, but I realized it was actually an English site! The art is so reminiscent of Japanese art. It's beautiful and unique.
