- Are We Friends Yet? by Lorca the Great [Excerpt] - Being stuck in community college sucks. Roxas just so happens to find something to keep him there for a while yet. And it all started with a freaking cold.
Another excellent fic by Lorca. I read it all in one go (except for taking a break to sleep!). What makes me so happy about her fics is the characterization. You never get bored with them, they are always coming up with something new to amuse or intrigue you. Never a dull moment, seriously. It's a lovely world that was built in this fic, and I'm happy to imagine Axel and Roxas and everyone else quite happy for the end of time. <3 (Axel x Roxas, past Riku x Sora, Zexion x Demyx side-pairing) (R+)

Even with my second reread, this fic still makes makes me grin so hard! And it makes me so happy even though I've had a moody day today. To me, this is the ultimate happy AkuRoku fic and will be going on my 'To Read' list for when I need cheering up. I can't say enough how perfect it was! So many awesome tidbits, such as personality traits, who set them up, the accidental switch... I was also really happy to read a fic with the fair as the setting, as I haven't been in forever and it brought back memories. (Axel x Roxas, implied Riku x Sora) (PG-13)
