What is a fanlisting?

A fanlisting is simply an online list of fans of a subject, such as a TV show, actor, or musician, that is created by an individual and open for fans from around the world to join. There are no costs, and the only requirements to join a fanlisting are your name and country. Fanlistings do not have to be large sites (although some are), they are just a place where you can sign up with other fans. - TFL

What is Xiaolin Showdown about?

Thousands of years ago, a Heylin witch named Wuya tried to steal the mystical objects called Shen Gong Wu. Dashi, a Xiaolin Dragon, fought with Wuya in the first Xiaolin Showdown ever and managed to seal her into a puzzle box. After, Dashi hid all of the Shen Gong Wu across the Earth, and for many generations they succeeded to maintain the balance between good and evil. A long line of Xiaolin Dragons has stood ready to face evil should that balance ever shift.

And it does, when Jack Spicer accidentally frees Wuya from her box, and the two form a partnership to reclaim the Shen Gong Wu. Xiaolin monks Omi, Kimiko, Clay and Raimundo, the new wave of potential Dragons, must stop the Heylin side once more, while training their elements of Water, Fire, Earth, and Air. Their are some easy times and some hard times, but they've always managed to get through them, until Chase Young appears to upset the balance even more. And there's another enemy, Hannibal...

Who is Chase Young?

Chase Young is a man from the past, who was once good. He was seduced by the thought of eternal youth and drank the Lao Mang Lone Soup from Hannibal Roy Bean and became immortal. One thousand years later he appears again. In episode 24, he makes his first appearance. He needs a dragon for his Lao Mang Lone Soup, and along with Master Monk Guan, they trick Dojo into coming to his mountain home. When a new Shen Gong Wu is discovered, Jack, Wuya, the Xiaolin dragons, Chase, and Dojo all gather around the scene. Jack and Chase meet. When Jack uses the sandals, he accidentally falls backwards, right into Chase's arms. When Chase introduces himself, Jack's eyes get really big and stars are in his eyes, which tells us that he's a big fan of Chase Young. At that moment he says "Here. I want you to have... my Wu." And offers his feet with the sandals on them, hairy legs and all. However, Chase has no interest in the Shen Gong Wu, as we find out when Jack offers a partnership in finding Wu. He brought Dojo to tell the dragons that Chase now owns him, and Chase was interested in meeting the dragons for himself. From then on, their destinies are intertwined.

Who is Jack Spicer?

Jack is a self-proclaimed evil genius. Since he was very young he's always wanted world domination. When he's given a mysterious puzzle which reveals the evil witch 'ghost' Wuya, he might just get his wish. The two partner up, seeing as how Wuya isn't corporeal, fighting again the Xiaolin dragons for the Shen Gong Wu. In episode 24, Jack and Chase meet. Jack had just nabbed the Monsoon Sandals and tried them on, but didn't count on being raised so high up ion the sky Fighting off a nosebleed, he was caught by Chase Young. He recognized him immediately, and its obvious he's Chase's fanboy. He offers a partnership, but Chase is not interested in the Wu. Later in the episode, it is revealed that Jack has formed a sort of partnership with him after all. After this episode, they have various encounters from then on, and Jack's fanboyishness changes depending on the situation (whether or not Chase is trying to kill him or not!).

What relationship do Chase and Jack have in the series?

Jack would like to be partners in crime with his long time hero, Chase Young, and makes many attempts to please Chase, but Chase is only interested when Jack gives him something interesting. Chase is more interested in turning Omi over to the Heylin side to prevent the boy from defeating him in the future. Still, Jack's fanboy attitude is very fun to watch, especially Chase's annoyance at it.

The Chase/Jack/Chase pairing:

Yeah, its crack. I can't see this happening on the show, but it makes perfect sense in fanon. There's just something about it that grabs me, that makes it interesting. When I watch the two interact on the show, I just want more. That's what makes this pairing easy to ship.

Chase/Jack is also known as "Chack". Silvarbelle was the first to come up with the term, I believe.
